Why does Oblivionx exist?
There are a variety of applications that allow you to share files between your PC and your smartphone. However, some applications require all devices to come from the same brand in order to work while others require users to purchase premium features to access features that Oblivionx provides for free.

As long as your devices are connected to the same network, either over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, you can share data between your devices.
Oblivionx detects other devices running Oblivionx by leveraging IPv4 Multicast, which saves bandwidth and avoids flooding the network with unnecessary traffic data packets.
To ensure that transferred data arrives reliably, Oblivionx uses TCP sockets to provide reliable, ordered data delivery.
